What is Advanced Placement?

Did you know that homeschool and non-traditional students can register for AP as an "Exam Only Student?"

Advanced Placement (AP) is a nationally recognized program administered by College Board (the same organization that offers the SAT college entrance exam).
Many high schools offer AP to students as a way to earn college credit or advanced placement (meaning the opportunity to skip certain courses in college).
